Maziel has quickly established herself as one of the top talents to come out of Central America, working as a DJ and Presenter for ABC Radio, San Salvador since the age of 16, and gaining a loyal following of over 1.000.000 people in Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador, listening into her show everyday to catch the latest tracks and artists within electronic dance music. Born on the 22nd of September 1985 in San Salvador, El Salvador, Maziel realized her huge passion for music, and especially radio, at a young age. She began working at ABC Radio at the age of 16 and hasn’t looked back since. At the age of 19 she was bringing some of the first electronic dance music to El Salvador radio, mentored by her good friend DJ Oz who was pioneering the electronic scene in the country at the time. As the genre gained popularity and international DJs started appearing in clubs It was only a matter of time until she was playing live in clubs, fine-tuning her skills at El3ments Club and rapidly gaining an astounding 5th place in the “Miller DJ Contest”.

Recognition and reputation of her fast growing talents grew quickly, and only some months into her venture, she was invited to participate in events showcasing DJs such as Who Da Funk, DJ Taucher, Global Deejays, Brooklyn Bounce & 4 Strings, and even events with the prestigious Ministry Of Sound brand in 2006. One of her true highlights was pumping out tunes to a 12000 strong, stadium crowd on the Ricky Martin world tour Blanco & Negro in 2007. During 2008 she had the chance to play in different countries like Guatemala, South Korea, Germany, Honduras, Nicaragua, Ecuador, etc. Now, based in London for some months, whilst studying and expanding her musical horizons, her international gigs have recently included Malaysia, China, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Germany, etc. Maziel’s international tour diary is expanding almost as fast as her reputation. Extensive touring throughout Europe and Asia in recent months has affirmed her ability to work any crowd into a dancefloor frenzy, in any part of the globe, at any time if day or night. Her talent for picking the right tunes at the right time transfer to any type of venue imaginable, from huge and glamorous, commercial superclubs to smaller, more intimate underground spaces. Her vast collection of varied music reflects the number of years Maziel has already worked in the industry, guaranteeing a maturely, expertly hand-picked set every time.
